High purity hydrogen chloride is a colorless, non-flammable, corrosive gas with strong pungent odor. High purity hydrogen chloride is heavier than air and can produce heavy smoke in humid air. It has a strong water solubility.

Application

It is mainly used for making dyes, spices, medicines, chlorides and corrosion inhibitors.

Used for etching gas in semiconductor industry.

Used in the production of hydrochloric acid.
